Earlier, the CUET UG website link was generated by NTA for the academic session 2026–2027 ie., cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates aspiring to pursue BSc, BA, BCom, BFA, and other degree programmes offered by DU, BHU, AMU, and other participating universities are required to appear for CUET 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted in May 2026 to assess candidates’ domain knowledge and understanding of the applied subjects.
In the latest press release, the exam officials have shared several important advisories that candidates need to carefully understand to ensure a hassle-free admission process. These include details such as the medium in which the question paper will be prepared, the list of CUET 2026 participating universities, courses offered, the release of the subject-wise syllabus, and registration details through the UIDAI process.

CUET 2026 Exam to Be Conducted in 13 Medium
While filling out the CUET 2026 application form, candidates will be given the option to choose the medium in which they wish to take the examination. The exam will be conducted in 13 mediums across India and abroad for admissions.Institute-wise Courses Offered by Participating Universities
NTA has updated that candidates will now be able to check the list of programmes and courses offered by participating institutes. To access this information, candidates can visit the official CUET website or the respective participating universities’ websites.Release of CUET 2026 Syllabus
NTA has released the CUET 2026 syllabus PDF on the official website. Interested applicants can download the syllabus by visiting the official portal. The syllabus has been released for 13 language subjects, 23 domain subjects, and the General Aptitude Test.UIDAI Update
To minimise difficulties faced during the CUET 2026 application process, NTA has issued a public notice to support lakhs of aspirants across the country by obtaining details such as name, date of birth, gender, photograph, and address from UIDAI through Aadhaar authentication (for updates in Aadhaar, candidates should follow UIDAI guidelines). However, since details such as father’s/mother’s/guardian’s name are not recorded in Aadhaar, candidates will need to fill in these details separately in the online application form.
The CUET 2026 exam is expected to be held in May 2026 in online mode to assess candidates’ domain knowledge, language comprehension, and general aptitude. NTA has yet to release the CUET 2026 application form; however, based on trends from previous years, the registration form is likely to be released online in the first week of March 2026 (tentatively).
